Guy arrived in New Orleans in 1992 and became a lifelong cheerleader for the city. He earned his Master’s from Harvard Divinity School and is a practiced public speaker who turns complex history into stories with charm and humor. He lives with his husband in their restored Faubourg Marigny home.

Gulf Coast history buff from Mobile, Alabama. Lives in the French Quarter with his cat Coretta.

Allison grew up on the Northshore in Slidell and holds a Master’s in Educational Administration from UNO. She’s an Assistant Principal at Little Oak Middle School during the week and brings her love of storytelling to weekend tours, connecting visitors to the city’s architectural heritage.

Caroline Williams
Caroline (“Phant”) is a Louisiana native whose roots run so deep her ancestor’s portrait hangs in the Cabildo. She holds a Master’s in Teaching focused on Louisiana History and works as an outdoor educator, teaching about local flora, fauna, and ecology. She brings that same curiosity and warmth to her French Quarter walks.

Janet Gross
Janet stopped off in New Orleans in 2015 on a solo drive and the city enchanted her. She’s lived in France, Spain, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, all key cultures in the gumbo of New Orleans. After nearly 50 years of teaching, she’s now focused full-time on her tour guide career. Licensed and Friends of the Cabildo trained.

Preservation consultant and PRC board member who rides with the Krewe of the Rolling Elvi.

Will Alexander
Will grew up in Charleston, SC and moved to New Orleans in 2014. He’s a preservation consultant and general contractor who serves on the board of the Preservation Resource Center. His Garden District tours connect building science to the rich history of these grand homes. Off the clock, he rides with the Krewe of the Rolling Elvi and marches with Krewe du Vieux.

Pauline Pastore
Retired research nurse from Chicago who explored every neighborhood from Lakeview to Holy Cross. Now haunts libraries and archives.

Pauline moved from Chicago in 2019 and fell in love with New Orleans. During the pandemic she explored neighborhoods from Lakeview to Holy Cross, soaking up history and architecture. A retired research nurse, she can often be found in libraries and archives, digging up photos and facts to share with her Garden District guests.
