Our newest tour is an hour long excursion into New Orleans’ oldest cemetery – St. Louis #1. Founded in 1789, this Spanish Era cemetery was the first of its kind in the city and used above ground mausoleums instead of traditional below ground tombs. Learn about this unique burial process, the stories of our noteworthy “residents”, and history of funerary architecture. Included in your tour is an opportunity to get a photo at the tomb of Marie Laveau, our most famous Voodoo practitioner and Nicholas Cage, our most famous actor to build a pyramid tomb in this cemetery. 😀
**According to New Orleans Archdiocese regulations, visitors to St. Louis #1 must be accompanied by a licensed tour guide, so be sure to book your spot today!!
